Stalwart IS®Anti-Ram Crash Barrier With High Security Steel Fence
Stalwart IS Anti-Ram Crash Barrier
The Stalwart IS (Impasse Security) system combines the most popular anti-ram crash barrier with the strongest high security steel fence available. Ameristar’s Stalwart anti-crash barrier complies with the current Standard Test Method for Vehicle Crash Testing of Perimeter Barriers (ASTM F2656-07), and meets or exceeds the demand for multiple vehicle threats

Agressive and Intimidating
Aggressive and Intimidating design elements of the Impasse palisade security fence portray strength and fortitude providing the best deterrent to intruders. If an intruder decides to take on the system, their efforts will be greatly reduced allowing the facility time to react accordingly.
Integrated Framework
Many security peripherals my be incorporated on the Impasse framework platform. The Impasse framework can be used to carry the anti-ram cable throughout its system to transform the perimeter into the Stalwart IS anti-ram crash barrier fence system.
Impasse II Bracket less Design
The Impasse II is built and constructed with a bracket less design. Without the need for brackets the system can be installed with a lower cost and in less time.
Impasse II Anti-Scale High Security Steel Fence
The Anti-Scale option of the Impasse II fence system meets today’s demands for high security perimeter enclosure projects. The decreased anti-climb pale spacing helps deter security threats from attempting to climb over the enclosure.
The decreased spacing also makes it more difficult and time consuming to pry or cut through the perimeter allowing the more time to react to a threat.
Security Peripheral Incorporation
The Impasse II Anti-Scale fence system provides a level of protection not found with a traditional welded wire mesh or chain link fence. The security platform incorporates a framework that can be used on multiple perimeter high security peripherals and combines them all into one single solution.

Anti-Ram Ratings
ASTM ratings were created to replace those determined by the U.S. Department of State. The ASTM F2656 standard recognizes a 15,000 lb truck traveling at 50 miles per hour as an “M50.” The “P1” designation represents a penetration of less than 3 feet within the perimeter. In the previous ratings system developed by the U.S. Department of State, a “K12” barrier was equivalent to the current M50.
- PU60 – 5,070 lbs truck at 60 mph
- PU50 – 5,070 lbs truck at 50 mph
- M50 (K12) – 15,000 lbs truck at 50 mph
- M40 (K8) – 15,000 lbs truck at 40 mph
- M30 (K4) – 15,000 lbs truck at 30 mph
